More Fun

Brand new,
enhanced formula,
fortified for your health,
sugar free gluten free low carb.

Dear one,
do you think you will be saved
by words like this?

Eat what you need
and what feeds you.
Fast from worry and shamefulness.
Don’t feed your mind
on empty slogans,
spiritual junk-food.

Choose what is good,
whole and healing.
You will be directed to it,
once you decide
forcefully
that healing really is
what you want.

Otherwise,
if you want empty promises
that never really satisfy,
that is what you will get.

Tell me, my dear friend,
which of those options
sounds
more
fun?

Step One

First, you must stop.
Stop what?
Stop most everything
Everything but Love
And even somethings you thing are love, but are, in fact,
Something else.

Getting to step one
Has only taken you
Twelve billion years, give or take
And so, I congratulate you–
You are finally ready
And all of Heaven rejoices.

Stopping is hard at first –
It helps to begin with noticing.
Where am I less than loving?
In my thoughts,
In my words,
In my deeds,
To myself,
To others,
To everything?
If you like, start noticing it
In other people.
Don’t get too carried away, though.
For every single thing you notice
In someone else
Also resides in you.
Judge not,
Lest you be judged.

And then, when you’re good and ready,
Begin to stop.
Stop the hate.
Stop the division.
Stop the jealousy.
Stop the lying.
Stop the manipulation.
Stop the pain-creation.
Stop all shred of negativity.
Take a fast from anger and
Never go back.
Cleanse your inner self,
Just as you might cleanse your colon.
You will find that your sensitivity increases
Allowing you to stop even mroe
At even deeper levels.

It is inevitable in this process
That you discover about yourself
Horrific things
Hiding under carpets
And in the closets of your soul.
Don’t be afraid.
They were there ten minutes before you found them and freaked out.

And when you have started
Step One
In earnest
You can begin Step Two.
But don’t worry.
You’ll be back,
Before you’re done.

Rage

Rage
Seems entirely reasonable
When it has overflowed the river’s banks
and caught you up in the flood.

It may even be reasonable
by this world’s rules.

But rage is a harsh master.
It will hollow you out
and fill you up, so that you can’t even
recognize
that the rage
burning you up
is not
who
you
are.

There are many lies
that the voice of anger
judgement
hatred
uses
to justify itself and distract
from the truth.

The truth is
nothing that threatens you
is.

Nothing can hurt
who you actually are.

The thing that can be
hurt
is the thing you think you are.

You are so much more
than the rage monster,
though if you ask it,
it won’t be the one
to tell you that.

It wants you
to keep believing in it.

A wise man once said
‘Reality is that which
when you stop believing in it,
doesn’t go away.’

My advice; stop.

(quote paraphrased from Philip K Dick)

Three Easy Steps

Lean in dear one
For I have a secret to tell;
It’s all about perspective.

You may be aware that
Different people
Can have radically different
View points
Of the self same thing.

If you can think of no examples,
Consider politics.
But not for long.

Now consider God.
God does not consider things the same way you do,
But you can change that.
Not by changing God, dear one.
God is unchanging and
Already perfect.
Its you who are
A work in progress.

You can heal your life
In three easy steps.

Step one: Stop.
This is the hardest part.
Step two: Listen.
This is also the hardest part.
Step three: Change.
This is very nearly the hardest part.

But Sare, you say,
You said it was easy!

Once you finish it,
You’ll look back and say,
That wasn’t so bad
Why did I wait so long?
I should have done that ages ago.

Yelling

There is an insane man
always yelling
in my ear.

Lying,
saying this body
is all I have

When I know full well
the true reality
of my being.

When I know
that I am
just steps away
from home.

When I know
that I am
just steps away
from God.

In Here

Love is what happens
When we stop fighting
God
When we are finally tired enough
Of the nightmare hell.

Then Love holds us
Sweetly singing
A beautifully familiar tune
And we see through the hell
To see the beauty
That was
Always
There

Not out there.
In here.
